REQUEST FOR INFORMATION

The Jersey City Public Schools' Curriculum and Instruction Department is currently in the process of adopting a Science comprehensive Textbook Program for Grades 6-12.

A textbook program must include the following:

Available in English and Spanish
Available in print and digital
Aligned to the 2020 New Jersey Science Student Learning Standards
Address Climate Change
Resources to support English language learners, bilingual students, and special needs students
Assessments (Diagnostic, Formative, Summative)
Digital Tools and reports
Intervention and Enrichment support to address academic, social, emotional and needs for all student populations
Phenomena-based lessons
STEM Activities, Projects, and Project-based instructional resources
Online Virtual Laboratory Investigations
Interdisciplinary connections and integration of 21st Century skills and themes
